1999

Peoples Bank was established when a group of local investors led by Larry Allen and Todd McKee, purchased Lorenzo State Bank in Lorenzo. Lorenzo State Bank was operating under a state banking charter granted in 1968.

2000

Headquarters facility was built and opened at 5820 82nd Street.

2003

Peoples Bank at 34th & Memphis opened.

2004

Peoples Bank Home Loan Center established.

2005

Peoples Bank Headquarters doubles in size and Peoples Bank Nazareth opens.

2007

Peoples Bank Shallowater opens.

2012

Peoples Bank Slaton opens.

2013

Peoples Bank Headquarters doubles in size for the second time and Peoples Bank Post opens.

2017

Peoples Bank 112th & Quaker opens.

2019

Peoples Bank Seminole loan and deposit production office opens.

2021

Peoples Bank acquires First Bank and Trust with locations in Seymour, Princeton and Whitney. Peoples Bank Seminole moved into their permanent facility.

2022

Peoples Bank Seymour and Whitney remodeled. Peoples Bank Princeton moved into their new facility.

2024

Peoples Bank opened a Loan Production Office in Frisco.

2026

Peoples Bank merged with Cornerstone Capital Bank. This partnership enhanced our ability to offer exceptional products and industry-leading technology, while maintaining the personal approach that defines us.
